Faith@Work: A Mini-Retreat for Men

When:

Where: Westview

Cost: $39

For most men, work is a major part of our identity. Despite our best intentions, we often use our careers as a mirror to reflect how we see ourselves and even how we respond to our families.

At the same time, the message of the Gospel says that we are loved beyond compare—regardless of our performance—all because of Christ’s work on the cross for us. And we can reflect His grace in the workplace.

Join us for a stimulating time of teaching and discussion as we explore how God desires to use the ups and downs of our work-a-day world to draw us into a closer relationship with Him, make us more like Jesus, and extend His love to a broken and needy world.

Our speaker, Patric Knaak, is the Area Director for Renewal at Serge, stewarding and shepherding the teams that teach, write, train and mentor for Serge. In this role he also teaches extensively on a number of theological topics in a variety of settings, including as a lead trainer for Redeemer City to City’s Global Faith & Work Initiative. He is the author of On Mission: Devotions for your Short Term Trip and co-author of Psalms: Real Prayers for Real Life. He, his wife, Jennifer, and son Parker live in Glenside, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia.

This is a mini-retreat for men that includes 2 days:
November 12: 7:00-9:00PM
November 13: 8:30AM-12:00PM
