Studies
Learn and grow through Bible study. Find a study that works for you!
Sundays
Reading Romans with Paul • Nick Schaser • 6:30-8:00PM
Join Dr. Nick Schaser to study another of Paul’s writings on life in Christ. Romans 9-11 are among the most complex chapters in all of Paul’s letters. They reveal the biblical vision of harmony between Jews and Gentiles in Christ and God’s covenant love for God’s people. This five-session study will explain Paul’s use of the Old Testament, illuminate how the early church understood Jesus, and offer ways to engage in faith and fellowship today.
Mondays
Women in the Word • 9:30-11:30AM
Join us for our final study this spring with Kelly Minter’s Encountering God: Cultivating Habits of Faith Through the Spiritual Disciplines. In this 7-session study, Kelly unpacks the biblical foundation for these sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Instead of being just one more thing on your to-do list, you’ll find that these habits of faith can actually create more margin in your life—providing peace and rest as you walk closer with Jesus.
Ezra & Nehemiah • 9:30-11:30AM
Starting May 1
The story of Ezra/Nehemiah plays out against a backdrop of ruins. This study will explore how God not only rebuilds what is ruined in our own life but uses our brokenness to shape us. We will see the faithfulness of God even when we are not faithful.
Tuesdays
Afternoon Women’s Study • 1:00-2:30PM
Led by Carolyn Beatty, this group continues a study in the Gospel of Luke. They enjoy in-depth discussions and care for one another.
Contact: Carolyn Beatty at 612.729.3143
Wednesdays
Women’s Morning Bible Study • 7:00AM-8:15AM • Starting June 7
Gather with other women to study the Gospel of John and really get to know Jesus in a personal and intimate way. Focusing on the seven “I Am” statements of Jesus, we are invited to learn what He wants us to know most about His character and love for us. This study includes video teaching from Megan Fate Marshman, a dynamic Bible teacher and international speaker. You will then get the chance to learn from Megan in person on October 8 at our CPC Women’s Fall Kick-Off Event.
Morning Bible Study • 11:00AM-12:00PM
Whether you love studying the Bible, you find it difficult and dull, or you’re a skeptic, we welcome you to check out our Wednesday Bible Study! There’s no homework, you don’t need to be a scholar, and we will address any question you have.
It turns out the Bible really is an amazing book that changes everything! Let’s figure it out together. We would be honored to have you!

Small Groups
Grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus and in community by joining a CPC small group! Our small groups range in size, frequency, and format, but they all share a commitment to helping one another become more dependent on Jesus as they grow in friendship and in faith.
