Studies

Learn and grow through Bible study. Find a study that works for you!

Sundays
Following the First Church–The Acts of Apostles • 6:30-8:00PM

After Jesus’ resurrection and ascension, the Holy Spirit worked through the first apostles to move the gospel from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. Join Dr. Nick Schaser for an in-depth study of the Acts of the Apostles to learn more about the mission of the earliest church. This five-session study will both explore the original contexts of Acts and show how this ancient text remains relevant to your life in Christ today.

This series will also be available by livestream.

Mondays
Women in the Word • 9:30-11:30AM

Starting September 11
This warm, welcoming community of women loves digging into the Bible together. Yummy breakfast fare, large group fellowship, deep connection with a consistent small group, and prayer makes this Bible study a special place. Join us this fall for a deep dive into the book of Romans. This study with Jada Edwards teaches us what gospel-driven faith looks like in practice: how we love people, how we make decisions, how we live in community, and how we foster unity with others.

Deeper with Jesus • 7:00-8:15PM

Tuesdays starting September 26
In this 10-week cohort led by James Madsen, the Gospel moves us deeper with Jesus. This happens most effectively when we are equipped to apply the Gospel of Jesus to our everyday life. In this 10-week cohort, we will learn practical skills to live a Gospel-centered life, leading us to partner with the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts and move us outward to tangibly love our neighbors. The first half of our evening features teaching and large group discussions. The second half of class will be spent in small groups of 4-6 people, where deeper connection and application can be explored together.
